We have some new news from the previous week that we have not been able to write about in our daily posts.

Bitcoin will grow in strength!

Bitcoin will increase its dominant position on the cryptocurrency market in 2019. This will happen at the expense of altcoins, which at the same time are to lose value. This is at least the result of the report, which was published by A.T. Kearney, an American global management consultancy company. The forecast regarding the attitude of the authorities to digital currencies may also be positive:

“(…) financial regulators will soften their position on this sector.”

Facebook enters the cryptocurrency market?

Anthony Pompliano of Morgan Creek wrote in a Twitter post that Facebook is preparing to create the most useful product in the world of cryptocurrencies. Where does this statement come from? Well, in his tweet Mike Dudas suggested that Facebook employs IT specialists specializing in blockchain technology without a clearly defined goal and without known reasons. Pompaliono decided to take the ball off and dispel doubts. Despite this, we still do not know what the new employees of Marek Zuckerberg are working on.

We will wait a quarter for the bitcoin ETF

The theme of bitcoin ETFs has been igniting the cryptocurrency market observers for months. Last week, the SEC set a new deadline for making its decision on this matter on February 27, 2019. The case was argued as follows:

“The Commission considers it appropriate to designate a longer period to decide whether to approve or reject the proposed change in order to have enough time to consider the proposed change (…)”.

The Chamber of Commerce of Blockchain and New Technologies (IGBiNT) established an Arbitration Court

The Chamber of Commerce of Blockchain and New Technologies (IGBiNT) established a permanent Court of Conciliation for blockchain technology. This is the first organization of this type in Europe and the second (after Japan) in the world.

“The Chamber currently gathers over 150 members. – Our main goal is a real impact on Polish legislation, in particular in the tax area. Education, cooperation with education and government bodies, shaping the principles of good practices, supporting Poland’s economic development, resolving disputes with offices are just some of the areas in which we engage, “says Robert Wojciechowski, president of the board.

IOST discovers the cards
