Is the war between the two opposite groups of Bitcoin Cash, just before the oncoming forks, the reason for the strong declines in the bitcoin price?
The conflict that has been happening has now been moved to a new level: both sides – Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV – have threatened each other that they will sell some of their BTCs. So heavy works are rolled onto the boards!
Apocalypse by St. Wright
To all BTC miners… If you switch to mine BCH, we may need to fund this with BTC, if we do, we sell for USD and, well… we think BTC market has no room… it tanks. Think about it. We will sell A Lot! Consider that…. And, have a nice day (BTC to 1000 does not phase me)!” – he wrote on Twitter to Craig Wright around 18:00 (CET). About an hour before the tweet began a significant decrease in the value of Bitcoin.
There is also another post from an unverified source that claims he is threatened by Jihan Wu. Here’s the translated version:
“I do not intend to start a CSW war [Craig S. Wright], because if I do this (by transferring the power of HBA to BCH extraction), the BTC price will fall below the annual support, it may even reach $ 5,000, but because the CSW is inexorable, I am involved in the fight until death. ”
We do not take prisoners!
Craig Wright, a person who even some considered even Satoshi Nakamoto, was one of the first to oppose the Bitcoin ABC solution and proposed his own version of the forku or “Satoshi Vision” (Bitcoin SV). Bitcoin SV is an attempt to get back to the beginning of Bitcoin, with the exception of updating the block size of 128 Mb.
Both sides threaten each other (and, by the way, trifle, the entire cryptocurrency community), because either by redirecting the Hash power from BTC to BCH, or sell their bitcoin reserves and thus generate declines.
Currently, according to Coin Dance, Bitcoin SV seems to be winning. It is estimated that 69-75% of miners support upgrade, while Bitcoin ABC supporters are estimated at only 13-25%.
We are waiting for the result of this fight. It should be remembered that during the war, rarely anyone is 100% successful.
