Bitcoin Cash is a cryptocurrency created in August 2017. It was created from the Bitcoin’s fork. BCC (or BCH) increases the size of blocks, allowing you to process more transactions.
One of the reasons for the creation of Bitcoin Cash is the lack of progress in the debate on scaling the Bitcoin network and the lack of approval related to the BTC transition on the SegWit upgrade, which increases the block’s capacity – but not its size – by changing the way transactions are stored. Communities has developed an alternative to bitcoin, where this problem has been solved by increasing the block size from 1 MB to 8 MB (and after the update from May 15, 2018 it’s already 32 MB).
